Meet new people. Have fun!
Sunday Night Meetings

All Sunday Meetings are at Clements Community Center, 1580 Yarrow St, Lakewood unless otherwise notedMeals start at 6 pm with programs to follow.

November

Nov 29 - Games Night (No Speaker)
Bring your favorite card or board game for some fun together.  We will even have some instruction in casino games, so you can enjoy the gambling possibilities at Central City or Blackhawk.  We certainly understand if you'll be spending the Thanksgiving weekend with family and friends, but if not, please join is for some fun and games.

December

Dec 6 - Collectibles and Hobbies Show-and-Tell (No Speaker)
Tonight you are encouraged to bring your collectibles and hobbies to a show-and-tell.
Tables will be set up around the room to display your collections, hobbies, talents, etc.  There will also be time for you to give a short explanation of your interests to the group (but only if you care to speak).  Come see what interesting things our members are "into" and learn what a talented and diverse group we really are.  Don't be shy, we all have something unique to share.

Dec 13, 5:30 pm to 10 pm - Holiday Dinner/Dance at West Woods Golf Club, 6655 Quaker St, Arvada.  Reservations required by Mon, Dec 7th.

No meeting at Clements Community Center this evening.
Come enjoy a great evening of delicious food, cash bar, conversation, and dancing to a wide variety of music.  Dressy or cocktail attire is suggested, as this is a very special social event.  Food prices have gone up significantly since last year, so the cost is $40 for both members and guests.  However, members will receive a small rebate at the event.  Please let us know you'll be joining us by Mon, Dec 7th, so West Woods can plan accordingly.

Dec 20 - White Elephant Gift Exchange (No Speaker)
This is traditionally the most popular meeting of the year.  Be sure to bring a wrapped gift - something you don't really need, but still worthwhile to someone else.  Some gifts are funny, others are practical, and still others have no classification whatsoever.  Several well-known gifts seem to show up every year and add to the fun.  You'll get a number at the door and gifts are chosen in that sequence.  If you don't care for the gift you open, you are allowed to steal from others that are already opened.  Each gift is allowed to be stolen only a certain number of times, but this results in lots of laughs and "bargaining".

Dec 27 - Holiday Bingo (No Speaker)
Tonight we'll enjoy an unusual version of Bingo especially for the holidays.  Come prepared to fill out a blank Bingo card with holiday items or terms.  Then we'll all get a chance to mention one of the things on our cards and hopefully we'll have some matches in playing Bingo.  There will be holiday prizes and perhaps some regular Bingo games too.
We certainly understand if you'll be spending the weekend between Christmas and New Years with family and friends, but if not, please join us for some fun and games.
