Come join us on Sunday evenings from 5:45 to 8:00 p.m. at the Clements
Community Center, 1580 Yarrow St., Lakewood (near the intersection of
Colfax and Wadsworth). We enjoy a meal together, followed by an
entertaining/informative program or a social mixer. Besides
a wide variety of interesting speakers and entertainment, some of our most popular
meetings include a white elephant gift exchange, soup and chili
cook-off, holiday themed dinners, pajama
party/breakfast potluck, and holiday dinner/dance. Come to a meeting and we will be glad to show
you around, introduce you to members, and answer any questions you may
have. Check us out soon!
Visitors are always welcome. Dress is very casual and we'll help you feel relaxed. Admittance fee is $7.00 (includes meal and program) for members and new visitors. Non-Member fee is $12 after a one month trial period (if you haven't joined by then).
We also enjoy other activities together during the week, such an evening of dining, card or board games, movies, plays, summer walks, concerts, wine tasting, contra dancing, and miniature golf. Weekend activities include picnics, mountain excursions, camping, hiking, sporting events, snowshoeing, and sightseeing. It's a great way to make new friends by joining us for any of our 10 to15 social activities per month.
